Don Glynn Sims

Don Glynn Sims 74, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was born on September 2, 1942 in Latexo, Texas to Sherman and Elizabeth Sims. Don was a retired public education teacher. He enjoyed travelling and was a sports fan.Don will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Elizabeth Sims; and brothers, Thomas Sims and Gene Sims.
Don is survived by his sister Betty Shanks; nieces and nephews, Gary Shanks, Linda Castleburg, Dana Akers, Tina Barkley and Rodney Shanks; numerous cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
Interment of ashes and Military Honors for Don Glynn Sims will be conducted at eleven o'clock on Saturday, the 10th of June at the Latexo Cemetery, in Latexo, Texas. Rev. Chuck Bratz will officiate.
