Catholic Funerals
We coordinate the full Catholic rite, from a vigil or rosary at the funeral home to a funeral Mass with your parish and priest. We arrange transport to and from the church, burial in consecrated ground, and the handling of cremated remains according to Catholic guidance. We work closely with Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palestine and St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery so that every step honors your faith.
Latter-day Saint (LDS) Funerals
We have served many families in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we coordinate closely with local wards, including those in Palestine and Tyler. We understand the customs and expectations of an LDS service and will work with your ward leaders to carry them out with care.
Orthodox Christian Funerals
We are equipped to serve Orthodox Christian families and will work with your priest and parish to observe the traditions of an Orthodox funeral with reverence.
Buddhist Funerals
Buddhist families are welcome at Rhone Funeral Home. We can accommodate chanting and prayers and provide a brief ceremony at the committal, working with your temple or teacher to honor your practice.
Hindu Funeral Rites
We have served Hindu families and can accommodate ceremonial needs before the cremation, such as applying oils and lighting incense, arranged at our licensed local crematory partner. Where families need a cremation soon after passing, we will do our best to make it possible. We will confirm the details with your family so that every rite is observed properly.

Our owner brings experience with Jewish funeral customs from a prior firm that served many Jewish families, and we are glad to draw on that familiarity to support your family. We will work closely with you and your rabbi to honor the timing and traditions that matter.
