Beverly "Becky" Ann Magee
November 2, 1945 ~ January 25, 2017
Beverly "Becky" Ann Magee, age 71, of Montalba, Texas left this life to be with her loving Savior on January 25, 2017 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 2, 1945 in Palestine, Texas to Robert Lewis Kimbrough and Arline Poff Kimbrough. She married Bill Magee, the love of her life, on August 21, 1965 and was a devoted wife and mother for 51 years. Becky loved her Lord, loved her family, and loved her friends. She often talked about how much she loved her "babies". Proverbs 31 describes a virtuous woman, and that chapter of the Bible describes Becky in detail.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lewis Kimbrough and Arline Poff Kimbrough; and sisters Linda Gayle McDowell and Grace Madewell.
Becky is survived by her husband, Bill Magee; daughters, Misty Atchison and husband Keith of Montalba, Robin Chapman of Palestine, and son, Rand Magee and wife Wendy of Keller, Texas; sisters, Hilda Graham and Shirley Whitwell; brother, Jackie Kimbrough and wife Ellen; grandchildren, Kylee Sandefer, Chance Chapman and wife Angie, Makenzie Magee, and Brysen Magee; great-grandchildren, Annilynn Sandefer and Bellamie Sandefer; special friends Emma Collins and Nancy Herbrough who took such good care of her these last few months, and many, many friends.
Pallbearers will be Eric Magee, Gregg Magee, Jimmy Burch, Scott Magee, Steve Magee, Mark Magee, Chris Kimbrough, Chance Chapman, and David McDowell.
Funeral Services for Beverly "Becky" Ann Magee will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Frazier officiating. Visitation for friends of the family will be from 10:00–11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Land of Memory Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to Montalba Baptist Church for the South West Seminary Preaching Scholarship Fund, Po Box 220- Montalba, Texas 75853.
Funeral arrangements are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, Palestine, Tx.
