Guestbook

  1. Weldon gave me first widespread exposure doing the weather for the Messenger in early 1991 before there was any such thing as Facebook or social media. He was a great man with a beautiful sense of humor and I was blessed to know the man. He knew Jesus as his personal savior so we’ll get to see him in Heaven. But oh will he be missed on Earth. May God richly bless Weldon Kerby and his family. RIP.

  12. Words cannot express how sad I am at Mr. Kerby’s passing. He was a wonderful man and unknowing mentor to those of us who followed him into the community newspaper business. His warmth and openness to share both his knowledge and his smiles made him a one of the “good guys” to learn from. The world is a little sadder today. My thoughts and prayers are with his immediate and extended family today. Barry & Suzanne Sharp
