Gracie LaVerne Blackmon of Palestine, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, the 17th day of July, 2018 at the age of 85. Ms. Blackmon will always be alive in the loving hearts of her family. She leaves behind her daughters, Peggy Cox and husband Mike, Rebecca Camacho; sons, George Blackmon and wife Martha, Pat Blackmon and wife Pam, Jerry Blackmon and wife Debbie, Sam Blackmon and wife Marla; twenty grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Blackmon, Margie Cox and husband Paul; brothers, Bill Hughes and wife Shirley, Larry Hughes and wife Wanice; brother-in-law, Mickey Blackmon and wife Laverne.

Please join Ms. Blackmon's family for a visitation and reception from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening on Saturday, the 21st day of July, 2018 in the Reflection Room and Parlor of Rhone Funeral Home.
