It was an absolute pleasure working with Greg…. I’m going to miss his sarcasm but most of all our talks we would have about our dogs especially…. We had an ongoing joke and he would know what this means…. I’m going to miss you “Mister WATB ..
Greg was a friend and all that title entailed. There is little more I need to say of him other than he will be missed by so many. Death can only separate us from the physical presence. The memories remain to always bind us.
Our family is beyond any words that could even come close to lifting the weight of your grief you now have in your hearts. May the memories of Greg and love your family and friends have for him soon replace those feelings of grief. Everyone grieves in their own way and in their own time, please know we are wishing you comfort during your time. Remembering the celebration of how Greg lived the life with which God has blessed him be the legacy he leaves with each one of us to embrace and practice in our lives…living an enriched life and enjoying it to the fullest. Love and deepest sympathies to you. 🌾
Greg was always a fun guy to work with, I will miss him. One of his famous line was “let me tell you what you can do for me.” He was innovative, witty and personable.
Greg was brilliant, he was funny, he was a giver, he was a workplace friend who made Palestine Texas a better place to live and city hall a better place to work. He’d often start a conversation with, “Let’s talk about what I can do for you.” A terrific cook, he shared the results with many. Clever and quick-witted, his tee shirts advertised his wry sense of humor, rooted in his technical competencies which were wonderful and very much appreciated. Can’t believe he’s gone and I so appreciate the time we had together now. Greg I will truly miss you and I so appreciate your contribution to who I am as a result of knowing you.   Â
