The best grandma anyone could have, I was blessed to spend many days with her in my youth. She taught me games like dominos, and cards, and even how to crochet. I didn’t know it at the time, but she was teaching me about life in her own very special way. So many wonderful days spent with her.
And this just wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention how she made those homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast! The ones from the iron skillet, with homemade milk gravy! Yummy! And so many other things that she made and did for all of her family, all with tender loving care.
Even though she loved the Lord first, every grandchild, great-grandchild, sons and daughters-in-law, great daughters and great sons-in-law and all of her friends and family, past and present, all knew that she loved them too.
I know she is visiting with the Lord today. And I know we will see you again someday.
We miss you Maw Maw!
God bless you!
We love you!

Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel.
My heart is broken and my spirit mourns.
All I know is that Your grace is sufficient.
This day, this hour
Moment by moment
I choose to lean on You,
For when I am at my weakest Your strength is strongest.
I pour out my grief to You
And praise You
