John Paul West

John Paul West, age 54, of Tennessee Colony, passed away on Tuesday, the 21st day of January, 2020. He was born on the 5th day of January, 1966, in Houston, Texas, to William A. West, Jr. and Beverly Cline West.
John formerly worked at Wal-Mart Warehouse and had an energetic personality. He was comical and loved playing jokes on his family and friends. John also had a passion for the outdoors. His hobbies included deep sea fishing, hunting and working with horses.
He is preceded in death by his father, William A. West, Jr.
John is survived by his mother Beverly Gentry and James Giles of Tennessee Colony; stepmother, Claudia West of Mississippi; sister, Devin Donovan of Mississippi; brother, Tony West of Colorado; niece, Zoey West; nephew, Josh West; aunt, Chris Conner; and numerous cousins and extended family.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from oneo'clock until twoo'clock in the afternoonon Saturday, the 25th of January, 2020 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.
The memorial service to celebrate John's lifeis to be conducted immediately following the visitation at twoo'clock also, inthe Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Richard Motes officiating.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the Reflection Room of Rhone Funeral Home.

My loving cousin! Always the life of the party! He lived to ride!
I will always remember John West the Best, such a great horseman and a kind soul. My heartfelt sympathy to mom Bev and all John’s loved ones. Bev, I’m hugging you and sending love and light.
I will always remember him singing in the warehouse at work. You could hear him several isles over, especially singing Jump by Van Halen.
