I’m so sorry for your loss, Sending Prayers for the family. I worked with Melba and Cush at Lakeview. They are dearly missed.

Dear Ann,Nan, Robert and families.
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother, relative and a dear friend to many. My family and I enjoyed many years of acquaintance we had with her through First Methodist Church. She, Cush and the family were always pillars of the church and helpful in many ways . She was a friendly and lovely lady, whom I will miss.
Melba has been such a huge part of my life since first meeting back at church camp in 1972. She & Cush were my other parents. I wii miss her here in this world but look forward to seeing her again in Heaven where we will rejoyous. All my love to Ann,Nan and Bob and the rest of the family.
Im so sorry for the loss of such a loving person. Always had a smile on her face that came her heart.
Melba Reeves (along with her late husband Cush) provided a memorable friendship within the realm of our family for many decadessimply put, they were good people. When Melba hugged you and said she loved you, it was the most genuine, sincere show of affectionand you felt loved. She also had a smile that left an indelible mark. I, like many, grew up and older in and outside our Methodist Church, knowing the love and support of Melba and Cush Reeves; and no matter the passage of time, their interest in our lives never dimmed. In the latter years, Melba would call regularly checking on my own mother, also named Melba, and no matter what her own health issues might be, she was always a constant source of encouragement and goodwill for her friends; always praying for them and finding ways to lift them up. This sweet soul will be remembered in the hearts of many; and she will be greatly missed.
Our prayers go out to her daughters and son, and their families during this time of remembrance and transition.
