Randy graduated from Elkhart High School and joined the United States Airforce. He served for several years before being honorably discharged and returning home. He made a career working in the oilfield and retired after many years of dedicated service.

Randy was a loving family man who was deeply adored by all his children. He treasured his family and all the memories that they made. Randy was an avid baseball player, coach, and fan. He truly loved the sport. As he aged, he enjoyed going to the ballpark and watching his children and grandchildren play ball. Randy had a passion for music and collected old vinyl records. Hunting, fishing, giving people a hard time, and spending time outdoors were also pastimes that Randy enjoyed. We rejoice because he is now in the presence of our loving Lord and Savior and are thankful for the beautiful memories that we will hold onto forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Attaway and Weeksie Hudson, and his beloved wife Lista Sue Dailey Attaway, who passed away in 2017.

Randy is now with our father in heaven and will not suffer from any more head aches. RIP in the hands of our father, the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob. Lots love and prayer to the family.

  5. Mr. Attaway was a wonderful man and a great friend. We had alot of great talks over his scrambled egg and toast and biggest cup of coffee we had at the cafe. He will be greatly missed! RIP Mr. Attaway

  6. I’m still missing you. All your sisters do. There are no words. I still have a tiny Air Force picture of you on my dresser, the one Mama used to have in her shadow box. I come back here often to watch the video Stephanie put together. She did a beautiful job of it. You were my hero when I was little, so handsome, and larger than life to me. I love you Bubba. I’ll be seeing you. Save me a good seat in front of the pitcher’s mound.
