  2. Over 30 years ago I met Jon at the old Stop and Stay. He asked if I wanted to throw some darts, that he needed a partner and wanted to know if I would be his partner… I told him I never threw darts before but I was game and willing but not to expect too much from me. That’s when my love for darts began.. I got on his dart team and then on his bowling team. He also introduced me to reptiles, but not snakes I don’t like snakes. At first I thought he was crazy and then realized I was crazy too because I fell in love with the reptiles as well. He gave me my 1st reptile, a leopard gecko. My love for reptiles grew to 13 reptiles at one point. Thanks Jon!!! We both shared a love for animals, sobriety, and sports. I am forever going to miss you and all of our talks. Until we meet again May you rest in peace.
    Love always,
    Debbie Haines

You were my neighbor and friend when we lived on Mulberry Street.
Many nights we stayed up late and pondered the meaning of life.
you were always Open minded and loved to debate anyone. You could hold your own on a number of topics. I was always amazed at how much knowledge was in that head of yours. You taught me how to work on my own car. I think you were with me when I bought my first tool set. Sometime ago and in a land far far away I think the name of the town was Denton 10 of the best years of my life I think you were there for most of them.
