So sorry to hear of Sharons passing. I met Sharon through my sister Yvonne, they were best of friends both working at the railroad. Sharon was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to Roger and all the family.

Sharon and I have been friends for sixty-five years since we met in English class in Jr. High School. Sharon was fun, funny, loyal and everything a friend should be.
My husband and I always enjoyed our visits with Sharon and Roger in Palestine as well as having them visit us in Conroe. Roger and my Terry would talk hunting for hours and Sharon and I would talk half the night about whatever.
Sharon was a bright light on this earth and the world will be a little dimmer without her presence. She could brighten any room she entered with her beautiful eyes and smile.
I am thankful to the Lord for giving me a loving friendship with Sharon Stovall Holmes for all these years. I already miss her so very much.
So sorry for your loss. My prayers for your family. I never had the pleasure of meeting her or the family. Sorry to have missed that opportunity. Im a relative through the Holmes side. Charlie holmes
Sharon was the most beautiful girl in the entire high school. We attended the Junior Senior prom together in our junior year and again in our senior year. She enjoyed dancing and we often went to the “Teen-Canteen” dances held all over the Houston area in those days. The last time I saw her was at a class reunion but every few years we would connect by phone when there was news of a fellow classmate. There is a big hole in my heart now.
Sharon, Roger, my husband and I met 45 years ago when we all worked at Union Station in Houston. I was so glad we ended up retired in Palestine together. She was one of the great reasons it was hard for me to move from Palestine. Sharon enriched my life and I am so very glad to remember her as my sister of the heart.
Roger, I am so sorry for your loss my friend. God bless.
