Frances Laverne Webb Richie, of Palestine, Texas, joined her husband and our loving Lord and Savior in Heaven on Saturday, the 5th day of November 2022. Mrs. Richie passed away at Winfield Nursing Home in Crockett, Texas, at the age of 80. She was born on the 25th day of March 1942 to parents Benjamin Albert Webb and Hattie Mae West Webb.
Mrs. Richie was born and raised in Anderson County. She worked in the banking industry, where she met a lot of wonderful people that became close friends, before retiring. She was a faithful member of Norwood Heights Baptist Church and attended every Sunday before her health declined. Even though she was not able to attend services regularly, her heart was there every Sunday.
Mrs. Richie had a heart of gold and a loving spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking at all the family gatherings. She had a natural "green thumb" and took pride in her beautiful flower garden. She was greatly loved by her family and her legacy will live on forever.
Mrs. Richie is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Hattie Webb, and her husband Larry Richie.
She leaves behind her sons, Don Ferguson and wife Robbie of Centerville, Texas, and Rickey Ferguson and wife Donna of Aledo, Texas; brother, Benny Webb and wife Carolyn of Colorado; grandchildren, Jamie Ferguson, Loren Ferguson, and Bryce Ferguson. Mrs. Richie is also survived by her nephews Allyn Webb and T.J. Webb, and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Frances Richie is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 8th day of November 2022 at Muse Cemetery. Bro. Jamie Hogan will officiate the service.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be directed towards Norwood Heights Baptist Church, 2214 Highway 155, Palestine, Texas 75803.

Frances always had a smile no matter how bad she felt. When I would go visit her to try to lift her spirits I would always leave with her lifting my spirits. She loved everyone but above that she loved the Lord. Frances was a blessing to everyone
Our respects to Ms. Frances! She was so kind at the bank especially to my children. They always enjoyed her friendly smile and candy treats. I remember teaching sweet Loren in 2nd grade. What memories!

My friend Frances lived a life of deep faith and complete devotion to her sons and family. Her Christ-centered love was such a cornerstone of all she did and thought. We talked about her life’s mission, It was to serve others in Christ She was an inspiration, a loving presence and I’m so privileged to have known her and call her friend. She is loved and missed.

Frances was one of my mom’s (Judy Quick) best friends from the bank. She was the sweetest soul and loved on me every chance she got and was such a blessing to my mom. She was an angel on Earth and now is one in Heaven. We were blessed with wonderful mothers and that makes losing them even harder. Prayers for each of you in the days to come.
Frances was a very loving and caring person. I loved her much
Miss you Frances
