  1. Leta was my special friend, we enjoyed many times together, card group, shopping and especially the last two Thanksgivings with she and her son Norman. Such a good Christain lady that will be missed by many friends. I will miss our long phone conversations. When she became so sick at the end of our phone calls she would always say now don’t you forget me and I would answer I will never forget you, my friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. James and Jane Beaman

  2. IT’S HARD FOR ME TO PUT IN WORDS, WHAT A WONDERFUL MOM I HAD. THE LORD ALLOWED ME 68+ YEARS OF BEING HER SON. MOM TOOK OVER BEING THE CENTER OF THE FAMILY, WITH THE PASSING OF DAD IN 2008. NEAR THE END OF HER LIFE SHE SO WORRIED ABOUT US KIDS. MOM ONLY LIVED FOR US. FOR NOW WE ARE ONLY SEPARATED. MOM AS YOU VIEW US FROM HEAVEN KEEP A EYE ON US. YOUR LOVING SON, NORMAN.

  3. Leta was the mildest and sweetest friend. She never lifted her voice. She was a gentle soul. She played cards in our group of ladies. We’d have turns cooking for our group. Leta always had great food and desserts. The game we played was “telafunky”. I loved going to her house. It was peaceful. We had a nice window to watch the birds, while we payed cards. You are in Abraham’s Arms, Miss Leta. Watch over us crazy women. We will miss you, and we love you.

  4. Leta Was my cousin, I have had many long talks about the family with her, She had an insight that most do not have and would tell you all that she could about the family and what had gone on when she was a young girl in Red Oak, Oklahoma and growing up without her mother.

I will miss the talks with her and pray she is now with her sisters and mother at rest.

  5. Rebecca, John and family, Bob and I are so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. We pray that these Words of Jesus will bring you peace and comfort:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24
With our deepest sympathy, Marion and Bob Breslin

  6. Mary Ann and I have known the Campbell family for nearly ( 50 ) years , Jr. , Leta, Norman, Becky, and Tanya, most wonderful people ever .We are so sorry to hear mrs, Campbell passing and we offer our prayers and sympathy to all of you at this time, may God Bless You ! “ Love You All “ Mary Ann and Marion Noski

  7. Leta was my friend because she was one of my Mom’s good friends. I remember Leta as part of my life since I was a little girl. She would let me stay with her if my parents were going out of town and make sure I was fed, got to school and didn’t get scared during the night. I don’t know how many things she sewed for me, including my wedding dress. She always took such care and concern to make sure she sewed it just the way I wanted. She sewed with love and kindness. When they moved up to Centerville by our weekend place, we always loved going over to visit her and her family. She always greeted you with love and warmth. My mom valued her as her friend and I was blessed by that friendship because I got to know such a kind, sweet beautiful lady.

  8. Mom, I wanted to write you and tell you I have picked out the flowers today for you and I know you did not want us to make a fuss, but I think I got the ones you would know that are from me to you. I big spray of SUNFLOWERS with a lot of seeds so that can you feed and enjoy the birds and sunshine the same thing you have given your kids nothing but joy sunshine and happiness. Now you wait for us and we will all be together again with Christ.
You never lost your tempter or yelled at your kids you did nothing but good I don’t think you every did a bad thing in your lifetime so I chose sunflowers so you would know they are from me and now you and Dad can watch and still feed the birds. Watch the pretty ones that you enjoyed seeing out the kitchen window. I really don’t understand how you were such a perfect and great example for the three of us because you personally did not have a mother to learn from, she left you as a baby not knowing or showing you what to do, but it was a perfect life you have given us.
I love you so very much but you knew that all along.

Your baby Tanya it is hard to finally write this last letter to you. But you know Jesus loves us!

  9. Leta was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I will miss seeing her every Sunday at church. She was a wonderful Christian Person. She will be missed by all.
