So sorry for your loss,he must have been a wonderful father and husband!
Roger and Jane were best friends with my parents, Terriel and Betty Elliott in Sandusky, Birmingham Alabama. Roger was dad´s Best Man and Jane was mom´s Maid of Honor at their wedding at Sandusky CoC on 6/9/62. Dad died on 12/18/2023. Mom is still living. Mom fondly remembers going to the Cleveland cabin on Smith Lake. She remembers Roger living on “Tank Hill” and Jane living in Adamsville before they married. She also remembers going to see “The Guns of Navarone” at the Alabama Theatre in downtown Birmingham… mom says that was the loudest movie she´s ever been to. Hopefully, Roger and dad have reunited in Heaven and are remembering the memories shared while they were young men and life intervened and they drifted into their separate lives.
