Kathi Jo Macarthur passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, the 20th day of February 2025, at her home in Tucker, Texas. She was 66 years of age when the Lord called her home. Born on the 13th day of June 1958 in Oakland, California, Kathi Jo Macarthur was born to parents John Nicholson and Eula Powers Nicholson.

Worked with kathi at the marine base in the cage…. Awesome woman and great person… condolences to her family and she will be missed
She was my dear sister in law. My self (Donna) and my husband Jack have had many fun times with Steve and Kathi . We went to their house in Ocean Park to share the joy of a New Year. Staying with them we planned a fun time. Kathi and I were giggles and cutting up while Steve and Jack were telling jokes and BBQing my brother’s specialty and making all the trimming. Just as the festivities began a car hit a power pole on Sandridge and blackout lol. Had the BEST TIME cooking and all by candlelight . Lots of laughs and the most wonderful dinner by candlelight.
We have known Kathi and Steve for years. Kathi was a wonderful person. I remember when she was the bartender at the VFW in Barstow California a couple of the gentlemen at the bar were having a heated argument well it lead to them getting ready to fight when here comes Kathi swinging a pool stick at them she stopped the fight and threatened to call Steve to come. I still laugh about it the look on those guys faces. Rest in peace Kathi
