  1. Dear nana,
You always showed me strength and patience in every single day you were here. Your calm demeanor, and how you tackled life’s hardships were not unnoticed. You gave me unconditional love, never showing favoritism or preference to any one of your grandchild over another. And as you got older and your body began to fail you, you still carried yourself with diginity, with honor, with a resilience ill hold near to my heart forever. You didnt allow life to dictate how you would live out any day you had here on earth. Every prayer we got to share, every phone call where we got to lift one another in love and strength will be cherished and shared with your grandbabies forever.

To the women who made me the woman I am today thank you. I love you forever nana and I will treasure every time I get to make chicken and rice with my girls. Your legacy will live on in our memories and your recipes, i will make sure our girls know each and every single ingredient in your loving recipe.
    Love, Jessie
