Glenda A. Baskin, age 80, of Teague, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, the 12th day of August 2026. Glenda was born on the 3rd day of May 1946, in Conroe, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Allyne Grau, sister Gala Canada and daughter Alisa Gale Bryan and granddaughter Lindsey Hail.
Glenda is survived by her husband Larry Gale with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her sons John Hail, Jr. (Wendy), Terry Hail of Arkansas, stepdaughters Lena Douglas of Iowa and Lori Carter (Bruce) of Texas.
She is also survived by her grandchildren to include Jack Cothern, Jessica Morrison (Justin), Rachelle Stagner, Tamara Gambatese (Nick), Kimber Glover, Dustin Glover (Kaitlen), Raechelle Gillis (Darren), Steven Hail, Brandon Douglas (Emily), Brett Douglas (Hayli), Briana Lewis (Geoffrey), Sean Carter, Shane Carter, Samantha Bryan and Stewart Bryan (Justice) and 26 great-grandchildren.
Glenda was an active member of Crockett Road Church of Christ in Palestine, Texas.
Funeral services to celebrate Glenda Baskin's life are to be conducted at two o' clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 16th day of August 2026, at Crockett Road Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Crockett, Texas.
Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour before the start of service.
