Albert Joe Pagitt

Albert Joe Pagitt, age 87, of Elkhart passed away on April 11, 2017 at Elkhart Oaks Care Center in Elkhart, Texas. He was born on April 14, 1929 in Palestine, Texas to Louie Pagitt and Genevieve Rhys Pagitt. Albert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United States Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his service. He retired from the United States Border Patrol Agency in 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Albert is survived by one son, Joe Pagitt and wife Joyce of Gun Barrel City, Texas; two daughters, Vandy Terrell and husband Rick of Eustace, Texas, and Vonda Pagitt of Oroville, Washington; two sisters, Carolyn Thompson and husband Jack of Palestine, Texas and Donna Blanchard of Palestine, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.
ACelebration of Lifeservice with Military Honorsfor Mr. Pagitt will be on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 pmin the Rhone Memorial Chapel.Bro. Ronnie Foster will offer words of comfort to the family and friends.
Cremation and Memorial Services for Albert Joe Pagitt are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, Palestine, Texas..
