Barbara Ann Hart

Barbara Ann Hart, age 79, of Palestine, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026. She was born on December 18, 1946, in Rosenberg, Texas, to Edwin Enax and Mildred Gibson Enax. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was centered around her faith, her family, and the people she loved.

Barbara was a longtime member of Westwood Baptist Church and enjoyed working at the church and serving wherever she was needed. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she treasured the friendships and fellowship she found through her church family. She was also a member of Legal Professionals. Barbara was a hardworking, caring, and dependable woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Family was especially important to Barbara. She loved spending time with her family, gathering for meals and celebrations, and making memories with those closest to her. She had a welcoming heart and a genuine love for people.

Barbara was a friend to everyone she met. Her kindness, warmth, and easygoing spirit made people feel comfortable and loved in her presence. Whether gathered around the table with family, working at her church, or simply visiting with friends, Barbara had a way of making those around her feel like they belonged.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William "Bill" Hart; parents, Edwin and Mildred Enax; sister, Peggy Enax; brother, Mike Enax; and her grandchild, Noah Hart.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Gregory "Greg" Hart, and wife, Deanne; her sister, Jeanie Macha and husband Jerome; and her grandson, Maddox Hart. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Graveside services to celebrate Barbara's life are to be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning, on Thursday, the 17th day of September 2026 in Kempner Cemetery, 13701 E. Highway 190, Kempner, Texas 76539.

A celebration of life service is to be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning, on Saturday, the 26th day of September 2026 at Westwood Baptist Church, 1809 Bassett Rd., Palestine, Texas 75803. The family request you wear bright and uplifting colors.
