Becky Sue Lusk
August 15, 1959 ~ April 17, 2017
Becky Sue Lusk, 57, passed from this earth and entered her heavenly home on Monday, April 17, 2017 at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 15, 1959 in Palestine, TX and was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Lusk and sister Terri Lusk Hardey.
Funeral services will be held at Rhone Funeral Home in Palestine, TX on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM. The services will be preceded by a visitation at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow atRoselawn Park in Palestine.
Becky was such a kind and giving person who was loved by many. She never let her illness get the best of her or slow her down, always smiling and never complaining. Becky loved to travel with friends and family and was always the life of the party. Becky also loved working with Texas Adaptive Aquatics alongside Debbie Bryant and Mike Schovanec helping those with disabilities enjoy many days of fun on the water.
Becky is survived by her father, Leroy Lusk of Palestine, sister Vicki Clark and brother in law Alan of Tyler, brother Stan Lusk and sister in law Fran of Whitehouse, nephews Dr. Brian Clark of Austin, Derek Lusk of Ft. Worth and Cory Lusk of College Station, and niece Staci Clark of Tyler. Becky is also survived by grandnieces Darbi & Finnley Clark of Tyler.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Eric Smith andstaff at the Trinity Manhattan Clinic, Dr. Sasha Vukelja and staff at Texas Oncology and especially the kind, caring, and compassionate staff at The Hospice of East Texas. The family also thanks the wonderful people at CB&I who supported Becky during her long battle and especially Keith Martin for his support & love.

Funeral services for Becky Lusk are in the care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX.





I am truly sorry for the Lusk family’s loss. Becky was such a sweet person and will be missed by many.
