I graduated high school and played in band with Bryce! I have so many great memories of him playing his tuba and can picture him running around the drill field during the summer while we were learning our marching routine. One memory that sticks out to me always is when he first moved to Elkhart in 5th grade he was the person who taught me how to shuffle and bridge playing cards! Any time Ive shuffled cards over the last decade I think about Bryce. Im so sorry.
Bryce was one of my 5th grade students. He was always well mannered and respectful with teachers and friends. His sense of humor always made him fun to be around. I am so sorry for this great loss of such wonderful young man.
Bryce was always nice to me I remember us going to prom and eating at Applebees he will always be remembered Im so sorry for his loss
I first met Bryce when he started dating my granddaughter Elora about 18 months ago. When she turned eighteen, they moved in together and started making memories. It seemed like they were always going somewhere and we’re constantly together when Bryce was off work. We enjoyed having them at our house, whenever we could get them there for the occasional family gatherings and holidays or any reason actually. I remember Bryce was always very respectful, soft spoken and had an easy smile which lit up his face and was always willing to lend a helping hand.. We all loved Bryce and felt he was already very much a part of our family. He will be greatly missed.
We were in band together from 6th grade til we graduated but didnt get close until sophomore year of high school when we were in the same friend group. Senior year he was one of my best friends. He could always make a bad day turn great. Junior year we had spanish together with 2 of our other friends. And let me tell you it was the best class! Never a dull moment.
Bryce had this pet snake for the longest time and it never had a name until we were talking about food one day (a very common subject for us to talk about) and we ended up naming the snake toast. Its such a random memory but its one of my favorite.
Bryce you were taken from us way too soon. And you are going to be so missed but i promise you will never be forgotten!
Bryce was my best friend, boyfriend, and if time were to go on, he would have been the most caring and loving husband, and a gentle and excellent father. Ive known him for a couple years, he was my best friend before my boyfriend and even when he was my boyfriend we would tell each other that we are each others best friends. We laughed so much to the point where we could barely breathe over the smallest things that were so ridiculous you would have no idea why we were even laughing that hard. He taught me something new every single day, he was incredibly intelligent, we would have long drawn out conversations about Socrates and Greek gods, how we wished we could go back in time to see what things were like back then. He always talked of traveling and converting a van or bus and just going across the states together, building a off the grid shipping container house. Bryce had so many wild but inspiring to do thoughts that he always planned out in his mind, so that when we got enough money we could travel and build. He also loved animals and I mean all kinds, he wanted a house on a big piece of land so he could have fluffy cows, water buffaloes that he could ride, kangaroos, you name it and Bryce wanted it. He showed me in life what he wanted in his future and he always tried to aim for it, no matter how hard it was because he knew he could do it.
