Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I used to visit one of the children when I was a young teen. We had a big family as well. There was probably a Sibley the same age as each one of us. I remember it was noisy and a house full of love. Rest in peace Mr. Sibley

  2. Hardest working man I ever knew. And loved my Mama! Many memories of him teaching us to crab and crayfish and trips to Holly Beach. He lived hard and worked hard to take care of his family. We had a good life. He loved us the best he knew how. I will see you again in the Heavens Daddy!

  3. I am the oldest grandchild. I never saw Pawpaw as old. He was always vibrant, full of life and a huge exuberant force. He always had some little gift or piece of wisdom every time I saw him, and usually a good humored joke. I have always tried to do things in a way that would make him proud. I’m also very thankful that he got to meet my youngest daughter.

  4. Charlie was always kind to me and full of wisdom and truth that helped me along in life’s journey. I enjoyed reading his index card notes that he would send for Jeff to read. He and Carol Anne are Erin’s adoptive grandparents. They loved her like their own. I still have all the artwork you sent me Charlie. I’ll treasure them. Thank you for being a good friend and a great example to follow. See again one day when it’s my turn to go home to heaven. Love you, Monica Strickland
