  3. Christena- my best friend and soul sister. Your work on this earth was finished. You left so suddenly I had no time to tell you everything in my heart. I know now that you realize how much people loved and cherished you. I will carry you with me forever more and will honor the life you led and the legacy you left. Love you forever.

  4. My heart was saddened to learn of Christena’s untimely passing.  I met Christena about 20 years ago and though we didn’t stay in touch after I left Texas, she was definitely one I never forgot.  We were both in the choir at Lakewood Church and about the same age.  I remember her introducing herself to me and that her name was Christena too but with an “E”.  We laughed and giggled quite often during choir practice (especially when we were supposed to be paying attention and learning our parts).  She was always a joy to be around and brought joy to those in her presence. Those memories are still in my heart.  Sending prayers to all her family and loved ones that God will comfort, strengthen you and that you would be encouraged by those who remember her and the impact that she made in our lives.

  5. I knew chris since we was kids in the apartments. I loved her like a sister. I know she is in heaven rocking in her chair next to her granny and mom enjoying God’s oceans. This was one amazing gal..and she will be missed grately.
