Connie Rose Buster

Connie Rose Buster, age 84, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, the 2nd day of September 2026. She was born in Chelsea, Oklahoma, on the 21st day of June 1942, to Henry Ross and Iona Jacobs Ross. Connie was a loving and devoted mother.

Connie had a special love for gardening and could often be found working in her yard, tending to her flowers and plants with patience and care. Her garden was a reflection of who she was—nurturing, hardworking, and full of life.

Connie cherished her girls and adored her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; they were her pride and joy. They brought her endless happiness and filled her heart with love. The time she spent with her family was among her most treasured moments, and she created memories that will be held close forever. Her love, guidance, and unwavering support created memories that will be treasured by her family for generations to come.

Connie will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of nature, her beautiful yard, and, most importantly, the deep love she had for her family. Though she is no longer here to tend her garden or gather her girls close, the love she planted in their hearts will continue to grow.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Thomas; and her parents Henry and Iona Ross.

She is survived by her daughters, Sonya Buster, Tracy Rhodes and husband Robert; and her adoring four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will celebrate Connie’s life at a later date.
