Daniel "Danny" Brian Staples

Daniel “Danny” Brian Staples, age 54, of Palestine, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, the 28^th day of September 2026. He was born in Palestine, Texas on the 20^th day of August 1972 to parents Larry Curtis Staples and Mary “Evelyn” Greene Staples.

Danny was a hardworking, talented man who had a passion for working with his hands. He worked on small engines and was a certified painter, with a particular talent for painting cars. He took pride in the things he could build, repair, and make beautiful.

Danny had a few things that seemed to always be part of him. He was an avid collector of pocketknives and rarely went anywhere without carrying one. You could often find him wearing his favorite cap, and he had a special love for remote-control cars. These simple things became part of what made Danny uniquely Danny.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Curtis Staples; and his beloved daughter, Annabella-Jolee.

Danny is survived by his beloved son, Dillon Staples; granddaughters, Letty and Payson; mother, Evelyn Staples; sister, Paula Staples; brothers, Ronnie and Mark Staples; nieces, Angel, Sloane, Hannah, and RuthAnne; nephews, Eric, Austin, AJ, and Jonathan; and his child’s mother, Jodie. He leaves each of them with memories that will remain in their hearts and a place in their lives that can never be replaced.

A graveside service for Danny Staples will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart, Texas. Bro. Clint Bass will officiate the service.
