Greg Kerr
July 14, 1969 ~ June 22, 2021
Our loving Father and Almighty Healer carried his faithful servant home. Greg Kerr, of Neches, left this life for his eternal home in Glory on Tuesday, the 22nd day of June 2021 at the age of 51. He was born in Lufkin, Texas, on the 14th day of July 1969, to parents Gerald L. Kerr and Theresa Pritchett Kerr.
Greg was a U.S. Navy and Army Veteran with 17 years of service to this country. During his military career he completed four tours overseas. Upon returning from the service, he fulfilled his calling of service to others by becoming an E.M.T. He also previously volunteered for the Neches Volunteer Fire Department. Greg was an active member of Westwood Baptist Church and loved the Lord dearly. He enjoyed hunting and being in the great outdoors.
Greg was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend who will live forever in the hearts of his wife, Morgan Kerr; son, Ayden Cole; mother, Theresa Kerr; and sister, Phylesa Lasiter and husband Richard; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends. Greg joined his father, Gerald Kerr in Heaven.
On Friday, the 25th day of June 2021, at ten o'clock in the morning, a Celebration of Life service with Military Honors for Greg Kerr will be conducted in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. Bro. Rick Dees will be officiating the service. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family one hour prior to the start of the service.
Honoring Greg's wishes, he will be cremated afterwards.
Funeral and cremation services for Greg Kerr are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.

I worked with Greg at PRMC and we had such fun in the therapy department. RIP.
He was such a giving person and passionate about the well being of fellow soldiers and veterans. I will never forget the pep talks he gave me about dealing with my veteran son’s PTSD when he returned from his overseas deployment. You will be missed Gregg!
Greg was a friend whom I was blessed to have known. My first memory of him was when we went on a six man fishing trip to Alaska on the Kenai River. It was a trip with shared fellowship, and a lot of sockeye salmon. The friendship continued at Court Drive CoC. When I found out he was a scuba diver we connected even more. We shared stories of our adventures, and even took a day to go to Clear Springs dive park in Terrell, TX. I moved off to Plano three years ago and our contact faded. Knowing he was a soldier for Christ gives me peace in my heart, and that he is in his eternal home. Yet, he will be missed.ÂÂ
