Jeanette Luna, age 75, of Elkhart, passed away on January 31, 2017 at her home after a brief illness. She was born on February 8, 1941 in Trinity County, Texas to Herman Clarke Brown and Vada Martin Payne Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Wash Martin; and sister, Mary Pervis.
Jeanette is survived by her brothers, Tommy Brown of Palestine, and Eddy Martin and wife Linda of Elkhart; sisters, Virginia Reed and husband Jerry of Elkhart, and Linda Chaffin of Elkhart; brother-in-law, William Pervis of Elkhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Rhone Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 10:00am in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Malone officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Pervis, Josh Dillard, Thomas Dixon, Robert Brown, Kenneth Pervis and Virgil Dillard.
Funeral arrangements are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX.
