He was a wonderful person. One of my favorite teachers. He really new how to teach. I owe my algebra and geometry knowledge, thanks to him I had no issues in college. He always had a smile and a kind word. I love this man. God bless!
Sweet Pop, he was always so sweet to everyone and to Trippy and he was always down for Little Mexico, we will all miss you Pop 💜
John Buck and I met at Scoob Waggoner’s roping pen in Athens. He knew right off I was green as a gord and introduced himself and immediately gave me tips on how to rope a steer. After several runs I hung one turned left dragging the steer so fast without giving the heeler a chance to catch his back legs. I rode up to John Buck and he was laughing his tail off and told me I may want to slow down the next time I catch. This started a thirteen year journey of he and I chasing the rainbow and having the time of our lives. John Buck helped me become the cowboy I always dreamed of being from the time I was old enough to know what a horse was. He became my older brother and I will miss him but will relive every moment we shared whoopin and ridin. R.I.P. JOHN BUCK I will never forget you and every conversation I have about a horse your name will be there with me.
Love you my friend,
Jim

I remember John Buck from when Gail and I worked together in the beauty salon downtown. We had so much fun during the Christmas holiday and everyone brought their favorite dish. We shared some good times and he was a joy to be around. Gail, I am so sorry for your loss and I pray God give you strength and peace as you lay to rest your husband. We know that if we are Christians to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May he rest there with him until you meet again.
