Johnnie Hinson age 88, entered in to Heaven's gates on Sunday November 6, 2016 at her home in Grapeland, Texas.
Johnnie Hinson was born June 30, 1928 in Palestine, Texas to John and Nannie "Pookie" Yarbrough. She had unwavering faith in God and was a member of Sunset Christian Church. Mrs. Hinson and her husband owned and operated Grapeland Propane and G&J Florist for many years.
Mrs. Hinson was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Gerald Hinson, father; John Yarbrough, mother; Nannie Frazier Yarbrough, sister; Anabel Bridges and brother; John Yarbrough, Jr.
She is survived by her son; Jerry Hinson of Grapeland and sister; Dorothy Rothermel of Houston.
Graveside services for Johnnie Hinson will be held 2:00p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Roselawn Park with Dr. Vance Drum officiating .
Rhone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry, I just read that your mom had passed away. I am sorry I didn’t know. Johnnie was a kind and gentle soul, always with a smile on her face. I always enjoyed visiting with her. You were an awesome and dedicated son and she loved you so much and expressed over and over how much she enjoyed you moving back to the lake with her. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
