  2. Kenneth sure was a great Christian man, a true role model and disciple of Christ. I never encountered anyone who knew him who did not have something positive to say about him. It’s like they could not help but speak well of Kenneth. I always felt some pride when I could say that I was related to him. I praise God for his life. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for healing, comfort and peace for his family.

  5. My deepest regards to Ken’s family!! I was so saddened to hear the news! Ken worked with our Department of Human Resources in Kentucky for a few years helping with leadership training. He was marvelous!

I had lost touch with him after I retired a few years back. Wonderful memories!! Thank you Ken and God bless you! May you test in peace in the arms of Our Lord!!!

  6. I met Ken when he was working in Fort Worth through ASTD [American Society for Training and Development] meetings. Immediately, I was impressed with his knowledge and passion for serving others and his warm, generous personality. I kept in touch for a few years, calling on him for insights and advice as my career progressed. He was always very helpful. I know he was loved by many and will be terribly missed.

  7. When I was a senior in high school back in 1985, Mr. Bratz led a leadership class that I was honored to be chosen to be part of along with other seniors from Westwood and Palestine.  It made such a huge impact on my life.  Mr. Bratz reminded us that as we were getting ready to go out into the world, things like integrity, character, and kindness were so important.  And there was never a doubt that he loved the Lord!  Thank you, Mr. Bratz, for the difference you made in this young girl’s life!

  8. A really great friend and an important part of Texas Baptist Men.He will be be greatly missed!

  10. Such a beautiful family! Patsy, you are a precious woman of God, a wonderful mother, and a loving wife. Our prayers are with you all. I cannot express how thankful we are for the many times he helped our family through counsel not only financial crisis, but emotional and spiritual crisis as well. It has only been a short time ago that we spoke to him regarding multiple concerns resulting from a difficult diagnosis in our family and sought his counsel on what to do. We had made plans to meet with him. He even gave us homework! He was as much concerned about the emotional and spiritual aspect of our situation, as he was the financial. I think of all the lives he touched in his lifetime. I believe he will continue to be a light even in his death. Praying for God’s comfort for you all and that you will feel the peace of His arms as you go through this time.
“And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.”
     Phil 4:7

  11. I was saddened and shocked to learn of Ken’s passing today.

Ken was an amazing man! I can honestly say that my life is much richer because our paths crossed. We have known each other and communicated for over 30 years. He was a true friend in whom I could talk politics with, discuss the Bible, laugh with, tell jokes to, seek his advice (which I did often), and just fellowship with in general. One thing I admired about Ken, he was a straight shooter! I could always count on hearing the truth and he would tell me things that I did not always want to know, but I needed to hear them. I am grateful for his wisdom! I was so blessed to know Ken.

My God continue to bless and comfort Ken’s loved ones. I know his legacy will continue for many generations to come.
