Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mr. Spacek’s trademark raised eyebrow stare was famous in our school, lol. I remember many students being afraid of him, but in reality, he had a wicked sense of humor and was not scary at all. The last time I got to see his smirk was at the Easter Sunrise service at the football stadium our senior year. The incident that elicited his smirk was epic and one I will never forget. May you rest in peace Mr. Spacek (aka Spock)! Randy, Melody, Joe and Wendy, you have my condolences.

  2. Larry, my condolences. May your heart and the hearts of those that knew and loved your dad be filled with precious memories. Blessings of peace and comfort to you all. 🙏

  3. One hell of a coach there!! Prayers for all!!

  4. Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your father, grand father and great grand father. My husband and I both had Mr. Spacek as a teacher many years ago and enjoyed sharing memories of his earlier years as a teacher at Fannett Independent School District. It was an honor to have him teach our son some 30 or so years later. We loved telling our son that Mr. Spacek had mellowed in those years. Scott also enjoyed him as a teacher.
May you also find comfort in your fond memories.
Sincerely, Buddy & Jeannette “Mathew” Duplantis

  5. One of the best teachers ever! All my love to the family.

  6. Thoughts and prayers are with each of you. May God give you comfort.

  7. Fred Newman HF Class of 90 says:

Now who’s gonna check those chapter questions? First thing comes to mind is that John Smith didn’t take Pocahontas on a date to Taco Bell!! lol The world has lost one great Texas History teacher for sure. A great mentor and roll model. Rest easy Mr. Spacek. Prayers to Randy and the rest of the family.
