Memorial services for Richard Davidson, age 88, of Palestine, Texas will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Gloria Turner officiating. He was born on September 3, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas to John and Alma Davidson.
Mr. Davidson entered into his heavenly home on Friday November 25, 2016 in the TruCare Living Center in Palestine, Texas.
He is predeceased by his wife; Opal Earline Stewart Davidson, father; John Davidson, mother; Alma Weaver, brother; John Lyndon Davidson, sister; Camilla Jene Bowles, daughter; Myrl Elaine McLauchlin, and son; Richard Gene Davidson.
He leaves behind a daughter; Marcia Kwiecinsky of Arkansas, grandchildren; Carrol Armstrong, Karen Elenburg, Celisa Hammonds, Richard Davidson, Daniel Davidson, Heather Wiiliamson, Earl McLauchlin, Christi Redd and Holly Kwiecinsky and 19 great grandchildren.
Cremation and Memorial Services are under the direction of Rhone Funeral Home.

A MOUNTAIN MEADOW PEDESTAL ARRANGEMENT was ordered on November 26, 2016
It was a true honor to know Mr. Davidson; he always had something good to say about someone and I especially enjoyed talking to him about fixing machinery, he really know how things worked and you could tell he really enjoyed solving mechanical problems.
I will miss him, but I know he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
