  3. Daddy,
You will never be gone. How could you be when I am half of you, born on your birthday. We’ve always connected in a way that was mind to mind, albeit both stubborn minds. I’ll never stop saying your name outloud, keeping our memories alive. You taught me so much. This really doesn’t feel real right now. It feels like someone else’s life. I hope you know how important it was for me to make you proud, and no matter what I do, you’ll always be there reminding me who I am, a Cook. I love you so much Daddy. I thought this song was appropriate.
