July 28, 1954 ~ November 25, 2020

Heaven gained an angel on Wednesday, the 25th day of November 2020, Shirley Ann Huff, age 66, of Grapeland, passed away peacefully and is now in the presence of our loving Lord and Savior. She was born on the 28th day of July 1954 in Crockett, Texas, to parents Donald Weisinger and Wilma Lucille Koepnick Weisinger.

Shirley was a registered nurse who dedicated her life to serving others. For all her professional success, however, her most fulfilling accomplishment was being a mother, and proud grandmother to six beautiful grandkids. For her, family was everything. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than organizing family get-togethers and attending every school and sporting event of her kids and grandkids. Shirley also enjoyed being outside and working and planting flowers in her garden. Shirley was a devout Christian and member of Oakgrove Baptist Church. Even though Shirley is no longer with us, her legacy will live on in the lives of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Wilma Lucille Weisinger and brother, Donnie Ray Weisinger.

Shirley leaves behind her daughters, Chasity Patton and husband B.J., and Kristina Huff, all of Grapeland; stepsons, Phillip Huff of Lufkin and Chad Huff of Hallsville; sister, Barbara Brown and husband Greg of Grapeland; sister-in-law, Leaita Weisinger of Houston; brothers, Donald Weisinger and wife Gwenn of Elkhart, and Billy Oscar Weisinger and wife Sherry of Grapeland. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Karisma Kissinger, Ashtyn Huff, Brynn Huff, Hannah Huff, Triston Huff, Tyler Huff, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening on Monday, the 30th day of November 2020 at Rhone Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate Shirley Huff's life is to be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning, on Tuesday, the 1st day of December 2020, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Lance Satterwhite officiating. Interment will follow in Guiceland Cemetery.
