  11. Steve was such a sweet and professional man that loved the highway patrol and was well respected. I had the opportunity to see after many years when he honored my brother as a Vietnam veteran. Bonnie you were blessed and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Steve was loved by many and well
    Respected

  12. I had the privilege of working with Steve on a number of occasions when I was with the Palestine Police Dept. He was always willing to help in any way he could and you certainly never had to worry about your back when he was around. Not to be forgotten was his service to his country as a Marine in Vietnam. My condolences to all of Steve’s family.

  14. Bonnie, Charlie, Shawn and Aaron, you all knew what I thought of Steve. He worked for me as a Highway Patrolman for 11 years and was one of th best. He was a hard worker and I could always depend on him. They don’t make them like that any more. We’ll all miss him.

  15. Beth Chronister Burton says:

40 years ago this man rode with me for my driver’s license test. We came to an intersection that had a right hand yield turn. He told me to take a right. I went to the light and he said, you needed to use the yield turn. He was a good man, and I was thrilled to get my license that day so many years ago. Rest high, sweet man.

  16. My condolences to you Bonnie & family 💔 my prayers go up for y’all 🙏🏻 Steve was a good man and long time friend…..rest in peace my friend 😪
