Tommie Linda Corbin, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on the 8th of December 2020. She passed away on her 76th birthday. Mrs. Corbin was born December 8th, 1944, in Porter Springs, Texas, to parents Joe Crawford Spinks and Lela Smith Spinks.

Mrs. Corbin lived a life dedicated to her loving our Lord and Savior. She devoted numerous hours serving at church activities and various community events at Calvary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, before becoming a member of Second Baptist Church in Huntsville. Her best memories were made spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tommie was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lela Spinks; sisters, Joe Ann Blackwell, Nancy Spinks Gilbert; brothers, William Rudd Spinks, Henry Spinks, and Lawrence "Snuffy" Carroll Spinks, and daughter-in-law Madeline "Joy" Corbin.

Mrs. Corbin is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Corbin; their children David Corbin of Gilmer; Cody Corbin and wife Kerri of Lorena; Rhonda Corbin of Huntsville; Misti Dibble and husband Matthew of Snyder; sisters Susie Weisinger and husband Jimmy; Lucy Sherrod, Sallie Reid and husband Bobby; brother Kirby Spinks and wife Linda; 12 Grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren who were her whole heart and world. Mrs. Corbin is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to visit and share memories with the family from one o'clock in the afternoon until four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday the 16th of January, at 41 Baker lane, Huntsville, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Mrs. Corbin's life will begin at two o'clock in the afternoon.

Services for Tommie Linda Corbin are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.

     Where do I start?It’s hard to remember the first time I met her her,because Me and David probably wasn’t in to good of shape!I think we knocked down a rock or two coming up the driveway to there house!I know we wasn’t the only ones to do that!
     No matter how many times or what time of day I came over,I was always welcomed and treated like family,had something to eat or a couch to pass out on.Except for onetime I passed out on the couch and woke up on the couch and thy moved it it to the yard with me on it?
     My random visits when I come through Huntsville will not be the same anymore.I will stop by and visit with Mr.Bill!Me and him would just talk about any and every thing from his puzzle he was making to him working as a butcher. 
     I love you all as my family,prayers and God bless you all!

    I will miss you allot I will miss your burnt bisquts too..and when all the kids was over and we all had to sleep on the floors and in the kitchen and on them bunk beds..I know everyone will miss you I especially will..I was listening to your favorite song precious memories by Alan jackson …well I do love I and I know u are in a better place now …R.I.P.   4. I’m so sorry to hear of  her passing, my best memories a few years back on the fourth of July Mr and Mrs Spinks would have a B.B.Q out at their lake behind their house.our family would bring the sweets or whatever someone suggested. Bill take care of yourself I know you will miss her greatly

  5. It’s so sad to hear of Tommie’s passing, such a dear, sweet, loving person ❤ I remember her from decades ago. We just recently became friends on fb. She was such a delight to interact with and surely will be missed. BLESSINGS🙏🙏🙏
